To ensure that you identify great staff
Look for those who are competent, capable, and committed. Often times an organization will overlook a potential hire because they are locked into a perception about the type of employee needed. Broaden the perspective and consider the following:
- Reduce the emphasis to take on employees with specific titles and number of years of experience
- Consider candidates on the merits of their full resumes
- Inexperienced workers may fight harder
- Workers who haven’t gained the experience may actually be more willing to get their hands dirty
